Mathematics & Numeracy

Mathematical concepts are introduced where possible using practical materials and real life experiences such as shopping and cooking before moving to more formal methods of recording as we believe that it is essential that children fully understand the basic concepts if they are to be able to apply them with accuracy and confidence.  Aspects covered include - Number, Algebra, Measures, Data Handling and Shape & Space.
